For Writer/Director Jason Barry, 'The American Dream,' is an extremely personal film based on true life experiences. The protagonist struggles as his seemingly idyllic life falls apart, one layer at a time. Betrayal, heartbreak and revenge permeate this story as a good man loses his possessions and possibly his soul.
